WOULD HAVE LOVED NO GUPH:
Nirvana, U2, Green Day, The Foo Fighters, The Beatles
BIOGRAPHY:
Guitarist Ron Putt formed this trio as a way of expressing his own original
pop-punk music. Putt, a beer drinking, weed-smoking, Hurricane-junkie
toiled in No Guph for four years, playing gigs at The Coach &
Horses, The Spotted Dog and Buzz's, opening for bands such as Toast
and B-Plan. In 1999 No Guph briefly changed their name to Chronic
and then Lightspeed, but the band soon broke up. In 2000, Putt
hooked up with Toast frontman Johnny Ten-Inch and, along with ex-No Guph
drummer Mike Moore, formed the Trailer Park Sex Cowboys, where
Putt assumed the guise of Roni Gatling and Moore became 'Dr. Fuck'.
